How it Works
Step 01
Get Booked!
To get started, just fill out the BOOKING FORM that covers all basic information I'll need to know about you and your session. If you have any questions about packages or your session, this form is the place to ask and I'll get back to you with answers and confirm your date and time.
Once the form is filled out and all questions have been answered, your booking is complete and set in the books! Don't forget to include a back-up date in your booking form.
Step 02
Prepare Yourself and Your Horse
After your booking is complete, I will email you a document that gives you a basic check list of all steps I recommend to prepare yourself and your horse for your session.
I am also available to help select any outfits or tack you'd want in your session. This can be extremely beneficial to creating the perfect look for your final photos. I also offer a prop closet full of photo ready tack, unicorn horse, dresses, flowers, wreaths, and accessories available for use at no extra charge.
Step 03
Select Your Favorites
After your session has been shot, you should receive an email with a link to your proof photos (which are lightly edited) so that you can select your favorites photos to keep. The session type you choose sets the amount of photos that come with your session. Additional photos may be purchased a-la-carte through the proof website.
Step 04
Photo Edits & Download
Once your favorites have been chosen and confirmed, I will proceed to fully edit all chosen photos in preparation for delivery. All finished photos will be emailed to you and the download feature for your gallery will be turned on. Please be sure to download and back up the photos onto a computer as soon as possible.
Depending on the package you choose, you may have prints included in your session. At this point, you would favorite which photos you'd like to have as your selected prints which will be shipped to your home.

What payment methods do you accept?I accept Cash, PayPal, Venmo, as well as debit and credit cards via square. Full payment is due at the end of shooting or before uploading proofs. Proofs will not be delivered until payment has processed.

Where do you travel and is there a travel fee?I can usually travel within 2 hours of Jacksonville, Florida but depending on the amount of client interest in other areas, I am happy to travel beyond that. I do charge a travel fee of 60 cents per mile both ways outside of 30 miles of my location. If you live outside of Northeast Florida, there will most likely be a travel fee.

What kind of location do I need?For outdoor photos, we can use almost any kind of area. This could be a riding area, a grassy pasture, the front of the barn, or any space that has some kind of foliage or trees. I can meet at either you barn or at a separate location such as a beach, trails, or event locations (depending on location). Black backgrounds require a covered barn isle, garage, or shed with a roof for proper lighting.

How do I prepare for my session?With all portrait session bookings, you should receive a document in your email that lays out a checklist of things you should do to prepare you and your horse for your session. If you have any specific questions or do not receive that email, I'm happy to answer any questions or pass on the document for you. In short: prepare like you're going to a show!

How long does it take to receive my photos?I deliver photos in two rounds: proofs and finals. I do not give an exact amount of time because it can vary. Proofs on average can take one to two weeks depending on your package size and my current workload. They are sorted, culled, and lightly edited. Finals: I spend more time fully edited your final selection to make sure your photos arrive looking their best. This process can take one to three weeks based on your package size and my current workload. If you have a deadline you need photos by, please let me know at the time of booking so I can plan accordingly.

Can I purchase additional photos?Yes, in most cases, your gallery will have the option to purchase additional photos beyond the number that comes with your chosen package. This will be at an a-la-carte fee which can be done within the gallery.

Can I post and print my images?Yes! Please feel free to post any and all purchased photos online. I would love if you could tag me in any photos posted to social media. Seeing Spots Photography FL on Facebook and @seeing.spots.photography on Instagram. Please remember that any photos with a proofing watermark are NOT allowed to be saved, screenshotted, or posted without purchase. This can result in a fine, deletion of your photos, or refusal of any future photos. Most purchased photos may be printed as well. Please see the details of your purchase before printing or shoot me an email to confirm. I do offer an online store where I handle all formatting and ordering for the best result.

What kinds of items do you offer to use for sessions?I currently offer several options for both the horse and rider. I currently offer a selection of photo ready tack, fantasy tack, a selection of unicorn horse, flowers, and garlands. For the rider, I offer several dresses and accessories. There is no additional fee to use any of these items.
